Datacenter IT Technician – France – 8 Month Contract

They create tools and resources for customers’ requirements to solve real-world challenges and transform industries without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in‑house AI/ML teams.

To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire a Datacenter IT Technician in France.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the datacenter’s IT infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving IT hardware issues
• Install, upgrade and terminate hardware based on operational requirements
• Maintain fiber optic cables and patch cords connectivity
• Perform regular IT tasks to maintain IT infrastructure operations
• Develop documentation for hardware configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues as a datacenter technician, support engineer or similar
• Good data center operation knowledge, as well as server and network equipment principles
• Practical experience working with server IT hardware, enterprise-grade network switches and fiber optic cables
• Basic proficiency in Linux and familiarity with command‑line tools
• Any exposure to AI tools and cloud infrastructure is a bonus
