Database & Control-M Transition Specialist

Overview

The role focuses on supporting the finalization phase of a large-scale IT transformation program by ensuring effective knowledge transfer and operational transition of database and workload automation systems. The consultant will contribute to stabilizing environments, transferring expertise, and validating successful handover to central teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute knowledge transfer activities for Control-M workload automation systems
• Manage transition of database expertise to centralized teams
• Support delivery and validation of transition milestones and acceptance reports
• Ensure continuity and stability of database and batch processing environments during transition
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of transformation deliverables

Mandatory Skills

• BMC Control-M administration and operations
• IBM AIX system administration
• Informatica PowerCenter development and support
• Strong experience in IT transformation and transition projects
• Knowledge of workload automation and scheduling tools
• Experience in database migration and knowledge transfer processes
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills

Specific Requirements

• Experience in handling transition deliverables and acceptance validation reports
• Ability to work in hybrid environments (on-site and remote)
• Strong coordination and stakeholder communication capabilities
