As a Data Steward, you will play a key role in managing and ensuring the quality of research data within the preclinical data team for one of our pharmaceutical clients. You will join an existing team that is expected to grow, as we continue to support our client across an expanding range of projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee functional administration activities, including access rights management, maintenance of lists of values (LOV), and the creation and update of operational documentation (e.g., MOP).
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements to support system enhancements and process optimization.
- Lead data collection activities, including the design and maintenance of data mapping interfaces to ensure seamless integration and consistency across systems.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of newly implemented features, including test case design, execution, documentation, and validation of results.
- Ensure functional reliability and system performance through structured verification processes and evidence tracking.
- Prepare and cleanse datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined standards.
- Perform detailed quality checks using script-based validation and database queries, followed by corrective actions and documentation.
- Configure and optimize data extractions, dashboards, and reporting tools to support business insights and decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical needs into effective BI solutions.
- Develop and deliver user training sessions to enhance operational adoption, system understanding, and data best practices across teams.
- Provide day-to-day functional support to end users, ensuring timely issue resolution, guidance on processes, and continuous improvement of user experience.
