Overview
The Data Steward integrates and applies data processes daily within the marketing domain to support the Manitou Group’s transition toward a customer-centric organization. The role ensures the integrity, quality, and lifecycle management of data assets, contributing to operational efficiency and the personalization of customer relations.
The group is moving toward a single point of entry for all customers, and the Data Steward ensures data is correctly managed across tools like PIM, DAM, and CRM, aligning data production with the New Business Platform (NBP) roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Data Integration & Operations: Execute daily operational activities within the marketing data domain to ensure data is correctly integrated into business tools.
- Process Implementation: Apply and maintain data processes and modifications that have been validated by the Data Owner.
- Data Quality Management: Maintain and optimize data quality to improve the digital experience and production efficiency through accurate data usage.
- Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the lifecycle of data assets (such as product and customer data), ensuring consistency across tools like PIM, DAM, and CRM.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and Business Owners to align data production with the NB P roadmap.
- Reporting & Prioritization: Report to the Data Marketing Product & Customer Manager, participate in planning meetings, and follow guidance on task prioritization to meet business milestones.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring data complies with group rules regarding nomenclature and regulations like RGPD (GDPR) and the Data Act.
Experience & Competencies
- Strong expertise in data management tools and data quality maintenance.
- Familiarity with marketing data environments (PIM, CRM, CDP).
- Analytical skills and a “taste for figures” to support predictive analysis or performance monitoring.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
- Agile & Proactive: Ability to adapt to changes and complexity within the Digital Team.
- Team Spirit: Capable of working effectively in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams.
- Results-oriented: Being goal-focused and capable of making effective decisions to achieve set objectives.
