Our 150 engineers design scalable, reliable, and user‑centric solutions driven by a modern architecture. The team is organized into specialized tribes that collaborate in cross‑functional teams, including an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, a Product Designer and Software Engineers.

• Product teams develop core features for key business domains (invoicing, banking, accounting).
• Platform teams manage infrastructure and core services (Cloud, DevOps, Core APIs, developer tools).
• Data team builds data pipelines for engineering, modeling and analytics.

Our stack includes Python, Nodejs, Typescript, FastAPI, Dataflow, Airflow, GCP, Terraform and dbt.

Your Role

You will join the Compliance & Risks team, which is responsible for detecting and combating fraud risks for Ageras and its clients by leveraging the data we have. Your responsibilities include:

• Tackle fraud daily by designing and deploying innovative security scenarios.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to support regulatory reporting for financial institutions, including the design of scalable, future‑proof data models.
• Work hand‑in‑hand with teams across Fraud, Compliance, Security and Tech to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
• Support operations teams in their day‑to‑day use of the Back Office, focusing on performance, usability and efficiency.
• Write clean, reusable and well‑documented code, conduct thorough testing and participate in code reviews to uphold high quality standards.
• Implement automated testing to guarantee product reliability, improve performance and quickly resolve production issues.
• Promote best practices in software development, such as domain‑driven design, clean‑code principles, pair programming and mentoring.
• Contribute to architectural decisions by proposing and implementing forward‑thinking technical solutions.

Your profile

• You have 5+ years of backend development experience in Python and can structure complex systems.
• You’re comfortable working with a JavaScript/TypeScript environment and have hands‑on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• You have a solid track record in building scalable, reliable and evolutive data pipelines.
• You’re an effective communicator, able to bridge the gap between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• You pay close attention to detail and are deeply committed to delivering high‑quality, impactful solutions.
• Bonus: You’ve worked in highly regulated industries such as banking or insurance and have experience with fraud detection or recommendation systems.
• You’re fluent in English and thrive in collaborative, fast‑moving environments.
