Data scientist - recovery department

Within the Société Générale group, you will join the Operations Department of French Retail Banking, more particularly within the Special Affairs Department of the Collections sector, in a context of major strategic challenges for the creation of a new Bank.

Its missions are organized around the following strategic axes: in the commercial and amicable phase, the objective is to regularize the client's situation and if possible preserve the commercial relationship, in the litigation phase, the objective is to allow the highest recovery possible, in order to reduce losses.

Concretely, under the responsibility of your tutor, you will be required to:

• Promote the establishment of an operational and financial management system for recovery activity. You will contribute to the analysis of the existing situation, the definition of a target and a trajectory. The implementation of this management system will be carried out in project mode, as such, you will participate in project committees, in order to understand the overall progress of the project, potential alerts and remedial actions to reduce them.
• Build a data warehouse and organize them;
• Produce indicators that will make it possible to manage activity, performance, control of operational risks, anticipation of file entry flows, adequacy of resources for the work to be carried out;
• Cross-reference data from numerous sources of information, taking into account the varied activity and issues.

AND IF IT WERE YOU ?

• You are preparing a Bac +4/5 in Business, Engineering or University school with a specialization in Data Science
• You are responsive and autonomous, you are already familiar with Big Data and reporting technologies.
• You demonstrate rigor, organization and capacity for analysis and synthesis.
• Your sense of initiative combined with your interpersonal skills and your sense of service constitute important assets for your missions exposed to numerous interlocutors.
