Job Overview
Data Scientist – Paris, France – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). We are a global biopharmaceutical company leveraging data science to accelerate drug discovery and development.
Responsibilities
- Gather relevant data from multiple sources and perform analysis to propose and implement data models for business cases.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights from datasets.
- Design, implement and fine‑tune AI/ML models using a variety of algorithms and tools.
- Present findings through clear charts, graphs and dashboards.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and support senior team members.

About you
You are a dynamic data scientist who challenges the status quo and leads the deployment of AI/ML solutions with robust lifecycle management.
Experience
- Proven ability to present findings with charts, graphs and dashboards.
- Experience developing and deploying production‑ready AI/ML solutions.
- Exploratory data analysis and advanced visualisation skills.
- Software development experience suitable for production environments.
Soft skills
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication.

- Attention to detail in data handling.

Technical skills
- Supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, LLMs, time‑series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, optimisation.
- Python and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks).
- Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Databricks).
- Data visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Knowledge of responsible AI principles and regulations.
Education & Languages
- Master’s or PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics or related quantitative discipline.
- Proficiency in English; French is an advantage.
