Job Overview

Data Scientist – Paris, France – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). We are a global biopharmaceutical company leveraging data science to accelerate drug discovery and development.

Responsibilities

• Gather relevant data from multiple sources and perform analysis to propose and implement data models for business cases.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights from datasets.
• Design, implement and fine‑tune AI/ML models using a variety of algorithms and tools.
• Present findings through clear charts, graphs and dashboards.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and support senior team members.

You are a dynamic data scientist who challenges the status quo and leads the deployment of AI/ML solutions with robust lifecycle management.

Experience

• Proven ability to present findings with charts, graphs and dashboards.
• Experience developing and deploying production‑ready AI/ML solutions.
• Exploratory data analysis and advanced visualisation skills.
• Software development experience suitable for production environments.

Technical skills

• Supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, LLMs, time‑series forecasting, Bayesian statistics, optimisation.
• Python and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks).
• Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Databricks).
• Data visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
• Knowledge of responsible AI principles and regulations.

Education & Languages

• Master’s or PhD in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics or related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in English; French is an advantage.
