Data Scientist

We are looking for a freelance Data Scientist / AI Engineer to help develop and maintain Nose’s data and AI ecosystem.

Nose is a Paris-based fragrance company operating NoseParis.com, with upcoming international openings. Our core data products include recommendation engines, perfume diagnostics, analytics/reporting tools, customer insights and AI-driven experiences.

The role combines

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Structure and optimize analytical databases and queries
• Build and improve recommendation and predictive models
• Work on AI-driven features and internal tooling
• Create and maintain dashboards and business reporting
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams
• Maintain and improve existing codebase and data architecture

Required skills

• Experience with ETL pipelines and structured datasets
• Experience with BigQuery / Google Cloud environments
• Experience with Looker Studio or equivalent BI tools
• Good understanding of production constraints and maintainable code
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment
• Good communication and business understanding
