Responsibilities
- Turn the product roadmap into working deliverables in the team backlog, aligned with the overall strategy and product vision.
- Participate in the Data Quality roadmap and capacity planning.
- Clarify team purpose, strategy and business priorities.
- Manage the team backlog and ensure that it is visible, transparent, and understood.
- Secure that the product is developed and maintained in compliance with given architecture, security requirements, and product strategy until decommissioning is completed.
- Manage dependencies and collaborate with other teams and business partners as needed.
- Secure that SLAs are established and fulfilled for any solutions managed by the team.
- Manage support of products and solutions in team scope.
- Secure that the team regularly collects feedback on implemented work.
- Responsible for team and culture development to secure proper capacity and capability for its delivery.
- Communicate and share the work done by the team to various stakeholders (Business, data unit colleagues, etc.).
- Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in Data Quality fields to continuously update and enhance knowledge and expertise.
- Provide tools, training and standards in the area of Data Quality.
- Establish continuous data quality improvement process.
- Support the roll‑out of Data Quality within Volvo Group, solving data quality pain points with the business.
- Build and maintain Data quality analysis at Volvo Group level, measuring key transversal data and enabling Data Stewards to lead remediation plans.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in IT.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field.
- Experience in data governance and management, with documented implementation track record.
- Solid understanding of Data Quality concepts and practical experience in Data Quality activities.
- Experienced product owner or project management background.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience in change management.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Demonstrated growth and learning mindset.
- Positive, problem‑solving attitude.
Nice to have
- DevOps tool or Jira expertise.
- Experience with Informatica IDMC, Power BI, and SQL.
- Conflict resolution skills to handle team or stakeholder disagreements.
