We are recruiting Data Product Owners for different domains in the L'Oréal group, organized across 18 domains that cover all business activities. Our mission is to create a data-driven competitive advantage by building a strong foundation of data that serves AI and analytics use cases.
Responsibilities
- Building the Data Domain Layer to ensure availability/quality of data needed for AI and analytics use cases (integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization, and structuring in layers of Data platform).
- Working closely with IT and Business Owners to align with enterprise data strategy and governance.
- Supporting the data needs of team systems and products across different use cases.
- Defining use-case data strategy and vision with functional Product Owner and IT group; resulting data model must be agnostic of use cases.
- Performing gap analysis: assess "as is" data assets versus use-case requirements, then defining and building data acquisition needs and quality expectations.
- Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements.
- Identifying integration needs for further use-case data acquisition.
- Structuring datasets in various layers of data platform.
- Preparing data for use cases by creating governed Business Objects.
- Co-designing analytics tools with functional Product Owner and IT to leverage the structured data.
- Defining key success metrics.
- Creating test scenarios and supervising data validation with testing factory.
Qualifications
- Engineering or Business Education background with a Data orientation.
- More than 3 years of previous experience (more may be required depending on position).
- Strong analytical skills and Data-driven mindset.
- Great interest in functional business specificities.
- Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum certification is a plus).
- Some Cloud Platform knowledge.
We understand that you may not be an expert in all courses- such as SQL or GCP but you should show curiosity to learn new technologies.

Interview Process
- Response within two weeks of application.
- If CV selected, HR interview with recruiter.
- Technical interview with potential manager (sometimes with another team member).
