Data Platform Manager

Data Platform Manager - 6 Months+ - Hybrid - Paris

RED now has a new contract opportunity for a Data Platform Manager to join one of our key partners for a digital transformation programme within a large-scale Digital Factory environment.

The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for full project extension. This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week on-site in Paris city centre.

Specific skills/experience required:

• 7-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Data Management
• 10+ years of overall experience in IT
• Strong experience managing cross-functional data teams (Product Owners, Data Engineers, BI Developers, Scrum Master)
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of at least 5+ people
• Strong experience with data platform strategy, governance, and delivery in enterprise environments
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)
• Solid experience with Power BI (dashboards, reporting, workspace management, deployment)
• Strong experience with dbt (data modelling, testing, and documentation)
• Experience with Azure Data Services
• Strong understanding of data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh)
• Advanced SQL skills and scripting experience (Python preferred)
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR)
• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, deployment automation via GitHub)
• Experience working within a Digital Factory or large-scale transformation programme is highly desirable
• Fluent French required
