We are currently looking for our: Data Operations & Product Owner
Fixed-term contract (7 months minimum)
The Data Operations & Product Owner is responsible for the operational delivery, quality, and continuous improvement of Westfield Rise data products (Retailer Portal, Experiential & DOOH reporting).
The role sits at the intersection of Commercial, Data, and IT teams, ensuring that data solutions are operationally reliable, scalable, and effectively used by internal teams and clients.
This position requires strong coordination skills, product ownership capabilities, and hands-on operational execution.
What will your day-to-day life be like?1. Commercial Operational Support (Data Products)
Support Rise commercial teams in the delivery of data products through operational setup and ongoing assistance
Participate in client and internal meetings requiring data expertise or operational input
Ensure accurate setup of campaigns and retailer accounts (Portal configuration, CP Tool, Deal IDs)
Provide post-campaign performance reports within agreed timelines
Support onboarding of media partners and new territories (data setup, reporting flows)2. Data Reporting Operations & Client Support (End-to-End Ownership)
Coordinate the end-to-end production of Experiential and DOOH data reports
Ensure timely delivery, validation, and quality control of all reports
Act as the main point of contact for all post-sales support:Client and sales team questions
Methodology explanations
Data interpretation support
Manage platform configuration and reporting parameters
Identify, track, and coordinate resolution of data or reporting issues with Data and IT teams
Maintain and enrich benchmarking and reporting frameworks to support commercial usage3. Product Ownership – Rise+ Platform
Act as Product Owner for the Rise+ platform (Retailer Portal & reporting tools)
Maintain and prioritise a structured product backlog based on business needs
Gather and formalise requirements from commercial teams, clients, and stakeholders
Write functional specifications and coordinate developments with Data and IT teams
Lead testing and validation phases before product releases
Ensure continuous improvement of usability, performance, and data quality
Deliver product enhancements based on documented feedback4. Operational Excellence & Data Quality
Monitor and ensure reliability of data products and reporting outputs
Log and track all data and IT issues with clear visibility for stakeholders
Coordinate with Data and IT teams to ensure follow-up and resolution
Identify inconsistencies across systems (Digeiz, CP Tool, Portal, etc.)
Contribute to improving processes and tools to increase operational efficiency5. Data Monetization Support (Analytical Contribution)
Deliver structured data analyses to support commercial initiatives (e.g. category insights, event analysis, day-part performance)
Support development of tools (e.g. Power BI dashboards) enabling sales teams to leverage data autonomously
Contribute to improving data storytelling and commercial usage of insights

What are we looking for?
Background
Strong experience in cross-functional project management (Business / Data / IT)
Proven ability to manage data products or platforms (Product Owner / Product Manager mindset)
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into business insights
Experience in stakeholder management across multiple teams and regions
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure operational delivery under constraints
Strong attention to detail and data quality
Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus
Comfortable working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
You are comfortab le operating in high‑level English in both written and verbal communication.
