About the Role
AECOM is hiring a Data Manager to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure and architecture for Oil, Gas, and Remediation projects. The successful candidate will drive data, storage, processing, and warehousing initiatives while ensuring the implementation of effective data management solutions and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain databases and large‑scale data processing systems.
- Ensure data is accessible, reliable, secure, and efficiently processed.
- Combine, optimize, and manage multiple large‑scale data sources.
- Create automated reporting systems and data solutions.
- Provide software solutions that move data from its source to internal databases, including data warehouses.
- Implement and maintain data frameworks and architectures.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Analyze complex issues and recommend solutions that improve data warehousing processes and methodologies.
- Use judgment outside defined parameters and precedents to make decisions and resolve business and technical challenges.
- Be accountable for the results of assigned projects and processes.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in data programming.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Engineering or related field and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Experience in data engineering, business intelligence (BI), or analytics development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and analytical databases.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
- Experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- Experience designing and supporting data pipelines, data integration, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience working with cloud‑based or enterprise data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise business systems such as Oracle, Workday, CMiC, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, automation, and reporting.
Additional Information

Compensation
$90,000 per year.
