Data Fabric Engineer (m/f)
Overview
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Data Fabric Analyst (f/m) to join our Big Data organization based in Blagnac, France. You will be part of a team developing data platforms, data visualization and associated services across Airbus. As part of the Big Data solution team, you will be involved in bridging the gap between high-level Data Governance and hands-on software engineering aiming at ensuring the efficient delivery of high-value, well-governed data products.
Your working environment: Toulouse is the global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, located in the southwest of France. It offers access to an international airport and is situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, close to the Pyrenees mountains with many outdoor activities.
Your challenges
- Automate the discovery and mapping of unmapped relationships within the enterprise ontology.
- Design and maintain the domain's logical ontology and dataset cartography to support data validation.
- Build interactive self-service governance applications using Palantir Slate, Workshop, and Contour.
- Ensure application of governance rules and communicate standards to data actors through workshops.
- Implement AI-based functions and NLP pipelines while applying FinOps principles to optimize performance and costs.
Your boarding pass
- Experience in data processing, data integration, data governance, and scalable data storage platforms.
- Advanced development proficiency in Python (PySpark), Java, and SQL.
- Extensive experience with Palantir Foundry (Slate, Contour, APIs) and the AWS ecosystem.
- Practical knowledge of NLP, Machine Learning, ontological modeling, and Data Product concepts.
- Negotiation level in English.
