Data Center Operation Manager (h/f)

Summary

The Data Center Operation Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of data centers. The primary objective is to manage a high volume of hardware decommissioning requests while coordinating technical operations across different teams, contributing significantly to the Core IT Exit project.

Main Responsibilities

• Process and monitor physical actions in data centers, including racking, cabling, decommissioning, and other Smart Hands & Eyes actions.
• Coordinate technical actions across all parties involved in data center requests.
• Plan and manage preventive and reactive maintenance activities to minimize service disruption.
• Oversee hardware entries/exits and manage access to data center rooms.
• Monitor incidents, changes, problems, and requests within data centers.
• Act as the Level 1 escalation point for on-site operational incidents.
• Document and update internal requests in ticketing and DCIM systems accurately.
• Propose and implement continuous improvement actions regarding operational processes.
• Prepare and coordinate physical operations with local teams at data center sites.
• Ensure adherence to safety and operational support policies.
• Support internal and external audits related to data center operations.

Key Requirements

• Solid expertise in ITIL processes and tools (ServiceNow).
• Strong proficiency in DCIM tooling, specifically Sunbird dcTrack.
• Operational fluency in French and English.
• Proven ability to coordinate processes in high-availability data center environments.
• Experience in managing high volumes of physical decommissioning requests.
