About the Opportunity

Brightsmith is currently seeking an experienced Lead Cx Engineer to join a major hyperscale data center project in Paris.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning professional with a strong electrical background and proven leadership experience to take ownership of critical commissioning activities on a high-profile project while working within an international project environment.

The role is specifically suited to a French-speaking engineer. The project team is multinational, and professional English communication is required for coordination with stakeholders and project teams

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical commissioning activities across the project
• Manage and supervise commissioning teams on site
• Oversee commissioning of electrical systems from Medium Voltage (MV) infrastructure through to UPS systems
• Ensure commissioning works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders throughout the commissioning process
• Drive commissioning schedules and support successful project delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience
• Minimum 3 years of data center commissioning experience
• Strong electrical commissioning background
• Experience commissioning Medium Voltage (MV) systems through to UPS systems
• Previous experience leading commissioning teams
• Fluent French and professional English communication skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience working for, or alongside, a General Contractor
• Previous experience on hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects
• Demonstrated leadership capability within complex commissioning environments
