Data Architecture and Development Manager
Within the Ceva Group, Ecat-iD specializes in the design and manufacture of automated and connected solutions for animal health on an international scale. As part of the site’s R&D team, the Data Architecture and Development Manager will be responsible for proposing, developing, and supervising new innovative projects that meet the group’s strategic challenges and customer needs in the field of data analysis and artificial intelligence, while ensuring the management, performance, and security of databases hosted on cloud infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Managing the team of IT developers and external service providers
- Planning projects in line with the group’s objectives
- Designing and developing algorithms, web interfaces, and cutting‑edge computer image processing and vision systems
- Designing, developing, and debugging software solutions
- Proposing data analysis methods
- Testing and validating proposed solutions
- Proposing tools for presenting data and results on a human‑machine interface (HMI) or for transmitting and storing them on servers (cloud, web application, etc.)
- Advising the R&D department on the choice of technologies
- Structuring and administering databases on the cloud to optimize and ensure the reliability of the solutions implemented
- Collaborating with the DevOps team on deployment automation and monitoring
- Proposing software architectures
- Preparing complete product documentation for the software and calibration
- Working on the development of algorithms, graphical interfaces, and databases, as well as on problem analysis
Qualifications
With a minimum of an engineering degree, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and have already managed a team.
Technical skills:
- Strong skills in statistics, mathematics, and programming, server deployment
- Expertise in cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Python, Docker, Servlets programming
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases
- Tools used: GitHub, Confluence, Visual Studio, etc.
- C/C++, Python, Java, etc.
- Fluent English
