Tech at Pernod Ricard isn’t a conventional tech role; from day one, you’ll be part of a borderless, global "one Tech team" driving impact across iconic brands worldwide. We look for a Data Architect to join our HQ in central Paris, collaborating with experts across the globe.
Your Key Missions
- Integrate operationally within various data product squads and design data architecture that aligns with stakeholder needs and product vision.
- Ensure an aligned architecture strategy across the organization, covering data platform components, security, flows, and modelling design.
- Shape global architecture guidelines, frameworks, and maintain consistency and high‑quality standards.
- Build data architecture frameworks for specific tech/data products in compliance with Pernod Ricard global standards (reference, meta, master data, procedures).
- Oversee continuous improvement of frameworks to meet evolving business needs and data accuracy & accessibility goals.
- Identify significant data assets, translate business requirements into data products (database, warehouse, stream), and assess impacts of product choices on architecture compliance and interdependencies.
- Coordinate with other Data/Tech Architects to secure consistency of architecture decisions and promote enterprise data strategy within squads.
- Advise on best practices and introduce innovative data‑centric solutions to improve outcomes.
- Participate in cross‑product and cross‑family data architecture initiatives and continuously develop skills based on industry trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data architecture.
- Proficiency in Azure, DBT, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical modeling for data object rationalization.
- Ability to collaborate with understanding of architecture and integration concepts.
- Skill to define the enterprise value of data assets.
- Experience with advanced programming and database administration.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Mastery of data governance and security guidelines.
- Agile working practices, including collaboration, continuous delivery, and CI/CD.
