Data and AI Compliance Specialist
Job Description
A Data and AI Compliance Specialist supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance procedures across Data and AI platforms and products, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements, data protection standards, and security best practices. The position reports to the AI/Digital Products and Platform Compliance Manager within Global Data, Digital Platforms and AI.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive risk assessments, support audits, strengthen organizational compliance capabilities, and promote a culture of secure, responsible, and compliant data and AI usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and management of compliance procedures on Data and AI Platforms and Products based information management system in line with worldwide regulatory compliance.
- Support strategies and initiatives to comply with data protection and security standards and address emerging threats.
- Support and maintain ontology security processes on Data and AI Platforms such as Palantir Foundry.
- Support internal audits and compliance assessments, preparing reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Provide guidance to various teams and stakeholders, promoting knowledge-sharing and skills growth on topic of compliance.
- Support comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect Data and AI platforms and products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of data protection and security standards.
- Support and drive the continuous improvement process within GDPA/AIDI department.
What you bring
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Deep understanding of IT processes, and their contractual, regulatory, and legal significance, such as GDPR, EU AI Act and SOX.
- Experience with standards such as SOC 1 & 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST SP 800.
- Experience with Data and AI systems such as Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT security & compliance environments and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Language: English and French.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or similar are an advantage.
