Data Analyst, Product
Overview
Reporting to Marie-Neige, Lead Data Analyst, the Product Data Analyst will be at the heart of the company's strategic decisions. You will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable analyses and promoting a data-driven culture at all levels. Integrated into the Data team, you will be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle (from discovery to post-release impact measurement) and will play a central role in building a data culture within the product teams. Collaboration with product teams. Work closely with product teams to understand their needs and deliver relevant analyses. Identify data-driven optimization levers. Support squads in their day-to-day management during active product development phases. Reporting. Build clear, actionable dashboards and reports focused on product KPI tracking. In collaboration with Analytics Engineers, identify data modeling needs and ensure data quality. Decision support. Provide analyses and recommendations to support product discovery, prioritization, and release impact measurement. Identify trends and patterns in the data to anticipate user needs and product opportunities. Development of data solutions. Design and implement analytical solutions tailored to the squads\' and business teams\' needs. Automate data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency and reliability. Data project management: Manage data analysis projects end-to-end, from design to delivery. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- You have significant experience (minimum 5 years, excluding internships/apprenticeships) as a Data Analyst, ideally in a startup or scale-up.
- Experience collaborating with product or business teams and translating their needs into actionable analyses.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, etc.).
- Knowledge of databases and data modeling techniques.
- A plus if you have experience with a product analytics tool (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or similar).
- Practical experience with experimentation and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in funnel analysis and user journey analysis, with knowledge of customer segmentation or scoring.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to present results and insights clearly and concisely.
- Strong interest in behavioral analysis and understanding customer usage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Curiosity and a desire to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methods.
