About the Role
Our Data Science team solves complex problems with smart, practical solutions. Data Analysts and Scientists work directly with product teams to uncover insights, guide decisions, and improve how customers experience Revolut. They do this by delivering smart, scalable solutions that move the business forward.
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to contribute to the fight against money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, and sanctions. You'll set the indicators and dashboards to monitor our overall FinCrime framework, and contribute to specific investigations mandated by authorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing data reporting requirements for Banque de France and new data reporting for the European Anti-Money Laundering Authority
- Investigating financial crime data analytics from internal projects or requests from authorities
- Defining and implementing key risk indicators and overseeing their maintenance
- Collaborating with MLROs, 1LoD, and 2LoD FinCrime teams, as well as Risk stakeholders
- Leading end-to-end analysis, from conceptualisation to visualisation and presentation
- Applying an understanding and knowledge of data to help Product and Support teams
- Designing key metrics to measure different aspects of the business
- Creating and maintaining new aggregated views and tables to simplify data querying
- Maintaining and creating dashboards to track metrics and visualise insights
What You'll Need
- Knowledge of financial crime concepts/data
- Experience in an analytical role creating impactful solutions
- A background/education in a quantitative discipline
- Great skills with SQL, Python, or another programming language
- Experience in financial services or banking
- Evidence of solid mathematical and statistics knowledge
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree in a core STEM subject
- Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or C++
- To have participated in school/University Olympic medal competitions in physics, maths, economics, or programming
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
