Data analyst e-commerce
Overview
Nutripure is a French growth-stage company producing high-quality supplements for sport and well-being. We are seeking a Data Analyst specialized in e-commerce for a 5-month maternity replacement (CDD).
Responsibilities
Improve internal analyses and reporting, ensure consistency of indicators across sources and departments, and maintain reporting during the mission (refresh, validation, usage tracking).
Build and maintain dashboards using BigQuery data and Looker Studio for business teams and management; produce recurring and ad-hoc SQL analyses on BigQuery.
Cross-department analytics by combining data from commerce, marketing/ads, supply chain, and finance to provide a holistic view; conduct deep dives to uncover actionable insights; formulate clear recommendations.
Maintain data operationally: monitor analyses, dashboards, and queries; detect cross-source anomalies; document data rules and deliverables; ensure timely availability of daily outputs; prepare handover documentation for project completion.
Deliver decision-support tools for various departments; automate recurring processes (versioned queries, automated refresh).
What to expect in the first month
Get acquainted with BigQuery, Looker Studio, and primary data sources; review dashboards and recurring analyses; map existing deliverables and reliability points.
What to expect for the duration of the mission
Rationalize internal reporting and ensure cross-department consistency.
Deliver cross-department analyses and initial hidden insights; provide decision-support tools for relevant departments.
Maintain data in operational condition and ensure a clean handover at the end of the mission.
Requirements
Formation: Bac +3 to +5 in Computer Science, Data, Statistics, Econometrics, quantitative business school or equivalent.
Experience: 2–3 years as a Data Analyst with initial e-commerce/retail/web exposure.
Technical skills
Advanced SQL (essential); experience with BigQuery; Looker Studio or equivalent data visualization tools with quick upskilling potential.
Understanding of e-commerce and ads KPIs (web metrics, acquisition, conversion, CAC, ROAS, average order value, retention); analytical modeling: structuring data for analysis and using reference models in BigQuery.
Data validation and automation: versioning queries, automated refreshes; Python is a plus for data preparation.
Operational autonomy: ability to be productive quickly within a defined scope.
