Cybersecurity ML Engineer — Build RL Defense Simulations

Mistral is seeking a Research Engineer to advance vulnerability discovery and remediation, security analysis, and incident response within our AI safety and security initiatives.

You will design RL environments, build pipelines that generate thousands of synthetic cybersecurity training instances, and run experiments that quantify model capabilities. You will own infrastructure (containers, VMs, Kubernetes) and collaborate with researchers and security specialists to produce reproducible results.
