Overview

Our client, a specialist engineering consultancy supporting a major organisation in the energy sector, is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Managers and Senior Cybersecurity Engineers to join a long-term strategic programme.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly regulated and technically complex environment, helping to strengthen cybersecurity governance, risk management, and security operations across critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity initiatives and programmes within engineering and energy-sector environments
• Manage cybersecurity risks and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders
• Support security architecture, risk assessments, and security governance activities
• Drive cybersecurity best practices across projects and operational environments
• Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• 10–15 years of cybersecurity experience
• Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, and security operations
• Experience within energy, industrial, engineering, utilities, critical infrastructure, or other regulated sectors is highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within complex technical environments
• French language skills are highly desirable
• Eligibility to work in France

Desirable Certifications

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
• IEC 62443 knowledge and experience
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework experience
