Customs Manager

The Customs Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the Group's customs strategy, ensuring full regulatory compliance while supporting operational continuity across all business units.

The position also plays a key role in supporting transformation initiatives and business growth projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deploy the Group-wide customs strategy across all entities
• Lead and coordinate an international team of customs experts located across multiple sites
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations (French, European, and international)
• Act as the main point of contact with customs authorities and represent the Group with industry bodies such as GIFAS
• Oversee customs declarations managed by brokers and ensure proper use of suspensive customs regimes
• Optimise:
  • Customs processes
  • Duty and tax management
  • Customs-related cash flow / financing
• Support Supply Chain projects and ensure alignment with regulatory changes impacting customs
• Contribute to broader Supply Chain transformation initiatives

Profile

• Strong experience in French and European customs law, particularly with special procedures (suspensive regimes)
• Proven track record managing international teams in complex, evolving environments
• Solid understanding of customs IT systems and SAP
• Ability to make decisions in a highly regulated environment and manage interactions with authorities
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with a consultative and collaborative mindset
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
