Customer Support Engineer (F/M)

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Customer Support Engineer – Structure Repair Engineer (f/m) to join Airbus Customer Services based in Toulouse, France.

Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

• Answer daily repair queries related to design and documentation in liaison with partner design office for maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with Design Offices to ensure requested repair definitions and justifications are available on time.
• Coordinate with the spare parts organization to ensure repair parts availability.
• Initiate and update structure repair documentation.
• Assist operators on site with structure damage evaluation and repair execution.
• Ensure information flow to and from operators regarding repair matters.
• Provide engineering support to other Customer Services departments and regional teams.
• Transfer in‑service experience and maintenance activities to management, other divisions of Customer Services and Airbus design organization, including vendors.
• Establish and improve customer relationships by coordinating regular reviews and exchanging information to provide visibility of capacities, resources, and solutions.
• Act as customer focal point to streamline communications between operators, MRO, lessors, and the Airbus Network, supporting regular meetings and improvement of operational aspects.
• Serve as focal point for projects aimed at enhancing the operation of the team, improving repair stages for managed dossiers.
• Travel for business up to twice per year.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience, knowledge in aircraft structures design, stress analysis, and general knowledge of composite materials and metallurgy.
• Good oral and written presentation skills.
• Knowledge of other languages apart from English is a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience in Structural Repairs.
• Experience in MRO environment, airline and MRO operations.

Professional Skills

• High interest/experience in working with extensive and highly integrated electronic data processing systems.
• Understanding of customer needs and operational context.
• Experience in Customer Services, preferably in the civil aeronautical field.
• Experience in MRO is a plus.
• Highly customer‑service minded.
• Ability to cope with a highly demanding environment.
• Good coordination and relational skills to work with customers, design offices, vendors, and Airbus departments.
• Capacity to adapt to specific demands.
• Team player.
