Customer Support Engineer – KLA Services
Responsibilities
- Receive training at a KLA training center in the U.S., Singapore, or Taiwan.
- Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as required.
- Update, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
- Serve as the company’s front‑line representative, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment.
- Coordinate actions with customers to minimize downtime.
- Assist Installation Engineers in resolving on‑site problems.
Qualifications
- Certified engineer or degree from an advanced technical school; approximately 3 years of industry experience, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree with related work experience (2 years for bachelor’s, 0 years for master’s).
- Technical background in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, or electro‑optical systems.
- Experience with electronic systems in semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Track record of empathetic customer engagement and proactive communication.
- Fluent in English; French language skill required.
- Valid driver’s license.
