Job Description and Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to support our customers with current and future installed tools at customer sites. We will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands‑on competence and a desire to succeed.
YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successfully complete formal training at one of our award‑winning training centers in California, USA, Singapore, or Taiwan.
- Travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.
- Perform customer service activities related to updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
- Represent the company and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining operational quality of system equipment.
- Coordinate actions with customers to minimize downtime.
- Assist Installation Engineers in resolving problems.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Certified engineer or degree from an advanced technical school; 3+ years industry experience. Technical military occupational specialties and training may be considered.
- Ability to understand and tackle problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and/or electro‑optical systems to address on‑site customer problems.
- Experience with electronic systems in semiconductor, medical device, defense, aerospace, or aviation industries is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns.
- Hands‑on and a passion for learning new things.
- Proactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and addresses customer requirements effectively.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Full driver’s license.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; or Bachelor’s Level Degree and 2 years related work experience.
