Customer Success Manager – North America (based in Rennes, France)

About BBright

BBright develops high-performance solutions for video compression, transmission and processing for TV operators and broadcasters worldwide. As we expand our footprint in the North-American region, we are looking to hire a Customer Success Manager based in Rennes to ensure our US & Canada customers get the best possible support, adoption, and long-term success from our products.

Your role & responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for BBright’s customers in North America, from onboarding to long-term support and success.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; understand clients’ business goals, challenges, and workflows in broadcast/IP-based video environments.
  • Guide customers to derive maximum value from BBright solutions: drive adoption, usage, and best practices (including contribution over IP, SRT workflows, ST 2110-based broadcasting, etc.).
  • Facilitate and coordinate technical support, liaising between customers, internal product/R&D teams, and support staff to resolve issues and gather feedback.
  • Track customer health metrics (usage, satisfaction, renewals), identify upsell or expansion opportunities, and relay market feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Ensure smooth handover from Sales to Customer Success after contract signature; support customer onboarding, training and integration phases.
  • Proactively monitor the competitive and technological landscape in broadcasting/streaming to advise customers and internal teams.

Profile / What we are looking for

  • Excellent command of English (spoken & written), given the target North-American customer base.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, customer-oriented, with demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • A good understanding of broadcast/IP technologies, metadata workflows, or willingness to quickly get up to speed in these domains.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions (Customer Success, Product / R&D, Sales / Pre-sales, Support).
  • Self-driven, proactive mindset: ability to manage a remote customer portfolio (time-zones, asynchronous communication), anticipate needs, and drive initiatives.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Rennes (Bretagne, France).

Prerequisites / Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the broadcast or media technology industry , ideally working with professional video, IP workflows, encoders/decoders, playout, monitoring, or audio/video metadata.
  • Solid understanding of one or more of the following:ST 2110 , IP video transport, HDR workflows, metadata (SADM, Dolby, captions/subtitles), file-based and live production environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, manage expectations, and translate technical issues into actionable solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; autonomy and proactivity are key.
  • Willingness to be based inRennes, Brittany (France) and work daily with North-American customers across time zones.
  • Work at the intersection of cutting-edge broadcast/IP technology and global customers, with a real impact on how major broadcasters deploy next-generation workflows.
