They are a fast-growing software company founded in 2024 by a team of entrepreneurs passionate about software and the energy transition.

Europe’s electricity system is undergoing a major transformation. The rapid growth of wind and solar power is creating increasing complexity around energy sales, with market mechanisms and contract structures such as short-term markets, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Contracts for Difference (CfDs), aggregation contracts and balancing services.

They provide dedicated Energy Contract and Portfolio Management software for renewable energy producers. Their platform enables customers to model, monitor and manage their energy contracts and portfolios, helping them transition towards market-oriented revenues across European energy markets.

The Role

To support their growing customer base, they are looking for a Customer Success Manager with a combination of European energy market expertise, project management skills and technical fluency.

You will be the primary point of contact for new customers from the moment they sign, guiding them through the complete journey from onboarding and implementation to go-live and long-term account development.

The role covers:

  • Scope definition and project kick‑off
  • Technical implementation and data migration
  • User acceptance testing and validation
  • Production go‑live and hypercare
  • Long‑term customer support and account development

You will work closely with their engineering team and use Python to model, automate, validate and accelerate customer data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Onboarding & Implementation

  • Lead kick‑off meetings and define the scope of work with each new customer.
  • Build and manage detailed implementation plans covering data migration, configuration and validation.
  • Coordinate with customers’ technical and operational teams to ensure smooth integration.
  • Drive UAT sessions and manage issue resolution through to production.

Technical Support & Data

  • Use Python and Pandas to model, process, validate and transform customer data during onboarding and migration.
  • Understand and specify required developments to support third‑party application connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and help customers map their energy contract data to the platform.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to elevate and track product issues.

Energy Market Advisory

  • Use your knowledge of European energy markets and contract structures, including day‑ahead, intraday, ancillary services, PPAs, CfDs, aggregation and balancing, to advise customers on platform configuration.
  • Help customers model their contract portfolios in a way that accurately reflects real‑world market mechanisms.
  • Stay up to date with European energy regulation and market developments to anticipate customer needs.

Account Success & Growth

  • Monitor customer health after go‑live and proactively address adoption challenges.
  • Collect customer feedback and communicate structured insights to product and engineering teams.
  • Identify upselling and expansion opportunities as customer portfolios grow.
  • Communicate product roadmap updates and new features, ensuring customers understand and adopt capabilities that create value for their business.

Technical Environment

  • Platform: Web application with React / Next.js frontend and .NET + Python backend
  • Collaboration: Git, Notion and standard project management tools

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in European energy markets, for example as a dispatcher, operator, Customer Success Manager, implementation specialist or energy consultant.
  • Solid understanding of European electricity markets, including market structures, PPAs, CfDs, aggregation contracts and balancing.
  • Hands‑on Python experience, particularly with Pandas. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable writing and running data scripts.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer onboardings simultaneously, meet deadlines and keep projects on track.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • French is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing end‑to‑end software implementation projects with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with energy trading, portfolio management or ETRM/CTRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and basic API testing or data validation.
  • Experience working in a fast‑growing startup or scale‑up environment.
  • Additional European languages such as German, Spanish, Italian or Dutch.

What They’re Looking For

  • Customer-focused: You measure your success through the success of your customers.
  • Technically curious: You enjoy going deep into data and systems to identify root causes.
  • Autonomous and collaborative: You take ownership of your projects while knowing when to involve others.
  • Organised and rigorous: You document, follow up and make sure things are completed.
  • Passionate about the energy transition: You are genuinely interested in the transformation of the European energy system.
  • Naturally curious: You enjoy understanding how customers operate, the challenges they face and the market context in which they make decisions.

They aim to run a fast and insightful process:

1. Role Deep Dive – 60–90 minutes

  • Competitive fixed salary aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Transparent variable compensation linked to customer success and retention.
  • Health insurance.
