Job Overview

Maersk is seeking a Customer Solutions Professional based in France to lead and execute cross‑functional pursuit teams that design and deliver integrated supply chain solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead cross‑functional pursuit teams (Sales, Product, IT/Integration, Value Engineering, Solution Engineering) and collaborate with the Opportunity owner to drive the commercial/OMEB process.
  • Coordinate across Areas, Regions and Functions for global solution pursuits, aligning with design teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead client workshops with Sales and Product to identify customer needs, validate As‑is and To‑be solutions, and present clear ROI projections.
  • Capture customer requirements and value concepts, working closely with Product teams to ensure requirements are met or to design solutions that meet them.
  • Execute project management and planning (PMO) for every pursuit, including organizing team meetings, managing stakeholders, preparing progress and stakeholder reports, and maintaining action trackers.
  • Create value propositions for complex integrated solutions, ensuring efficiency by re‑using previously developed solutions where appropriate.
  • Support the development of commercial response documentation (rate sheets, client questionnaires, value propositions).
  • Prepare financial projections and attractiveness assessments and negotiate scenarios jointly with Sales and Product.
  • Ensure that the commercial process and OMEB are adhered to and executed effectively on every pursuit.
  • Stay informed about the Business Unit and industry best practices to inform solution development.

Qualifications

  • Solid professional experience in management consultancy (Supply Chain and/or Logistics) or a prior customer solution design role in the logistics industry.
  • Experience in Retail/FMCG or Chemicals/Technology sectors.
  • Commercial experience and a customer‑obsessed, commercially oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s and a postgraduate degree in business or Supply Chain/Logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to orchestrate and lead pursuit teams of 5–15 individuals.
  • Data‑driven, analytical, and action‑oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally within Southwest Europe for short business trips on a monthly basis.
