Within the engineering Electrical/Electronic Reactive Lab team in Poissy, the mission is to provide technical expertise for root cause identification of complex field issues through hands-on laboratory testing and advanced data analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and identify root causes of complex field quality issues impacting customer experience, including safety and 12V Battery topics.
  • Perform system-level investigations with a transversal approach (cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, EE Architecture, Suppliers, Data, Quality and Aftersales).

2/ Vehicle Testing & Lab Activities

  • Conduct hands-on investigations on vehicles.
  • Perform tests and measurements in laboratory and real-life conditions.
  • Use advanced instrumentation and diagnostic tools to capture and analyze data.

3/ Data Analysis

  • Analyze and correlate multi-source data (OTA, vehicle definition & features, Aftersales claims) with test and measurement results.
  • Identify system behaviors, anomalies, and failure patterns or signatures.

Technical skills

Instrumentation & Measurement

  • Vehicle instrumentation (analog signals, CAN/LIN networks, ECU signals).
  • Electrical measurements from µA to high-current systems.

Testing & Validation

  • Design and execution of vehicle and laboratory test campaigns.
  • Stress testing and failure reproduction methodologies.
  • Validation of hypotheses through controlled experiments.
  • Test protocol definition and result interpretation.

Diagnostics & Vehicle Networks

  • ECU diagnostics and trace analysis.
  • CAN bus and vehicle network analysis.
  • Use of diagnostic tools, trace readers and diagnostic sessions.

Electrical & System Expertise

  • 12V system analysis, including battery drain investigations.
  • Component-level investigations on connectors, harnesses and electronics.
  • Good understanding of vehicle EE architecture and power distribution.
  • Knowledge of interactions between vehicle subsystems such as ADAS, powertrain and infotainment.

Profile

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering with a strong hands-on mindset and a clear interest in vehicle testing and operational activities.
  • You are recognized for your strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Curious and rigorous, you enjoy hands-on investigations, testing and experimentation to understand complex technical issues. Results-driven and customer-focused, you are comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments. You demonstrate clear communication skills, strong technical synthesis abilities, and an autonomous, proactive approach to your work.
