This 2‑year apprenticeship program is intended for candidates studying toward a Master’s degree in infrastructure modernization, application modernization, computer science, data science, AI/ML, or digital transformation, and is offered through a French CFA (Centre de Formation d'Apprentis).
This apprenticeship is intended for students who have work authorization in France.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in a 2‑year Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical area for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- Admitted to a French CFA ( Centre formation d'apprentis) and a university or engineering school.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and French to collaborate with colleagues.
Preferred qualifications
- Effective communication and organizational skills, proactive, self‑motivated, positive attitude, and demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities. Ability to deliver technical presentations demonstrating good presentation skills.
- Willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions, and seek help/advice where appropriate.
- Enthusiasm and passion for new cloud technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/data/AI engineering technology space.
About the job
As a Customer Engineer Apprentice, you’ll join Google Cloud technical presales teams. You will assist Field Sales Representatives with problem‑solving key technical issues for customers and assess new Cloud business (e.g., understanding customers’ business and technical needs, proposing and presenting Google Cloud solutions, building demos or PoCs based on Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Undertake training and follow mentoring as specified during the onboarding period (obtain Google Cloud certification such as Professional Cloud Architect and a specialized certification among Google Cloud certification programs).
- Work with the Google Cloud team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product solutions and their integrations in customer or partner environments.
- Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
