Founded in 2020 and based in Paris, C12 is building a universal quantum computer. Role
We are looking for a Customer Delivery Manager to initiate and drive complex commercial projects and help define go-to-market pathways for our quantum computing technologies. This role sits at the intersection of science, product, and market, requiring technical curiosity, project management skills and strong commercial instincts. You will work closely with research teams, customers and external partners to translate breakthrough technology into real-world applications. You will report to the Head of Sales and collaborate with Innovation and Partnerships, Product Management, as well as the Theory & Applications and Software teams.
Responsibilities
Project management: Lead multiple projects with highly scientific content, using planning, tracking, and milestone management tools.
Manage the execution of statements of work; improve processes and methodologies for client project deliveries across the organization.
Lead project meetings and workshops with clear agendas, ensure actions are recorded and followed up.
Write commercial proposals and grant applications outlining project scope, resource requirements, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and experts.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Strategic Partnerships
Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with business partners (e.g., algorithm builders, software providers).
Build and maintain a high-quality partners pipeline of strategic opportunities.
Business Development
Work closely with quantum scientists and engineers to understand capabilities and roadmap.
Partner with product and marketing teams to refine positioning and messaging.
Participate in relevant conferences to meet target customers and partners.
Support the marketing team in optimizing targeting strategies within the European market.
Qualifications
You have a scientific background related to our domain: engineering, physics, quantum physics, computer science, etc.
You have 4+ years of experience in project management or strategy consulting in the private sector. Experience in R&D or technical project management is a strong advantage.
You have experience working in deeptech, advanced hardware, or complex technical product companies (e.g., semiconductors, AI, HPC, photonics).
You are fluent in spoken and written English and French.
You are self-motivated and capable of working independently.
You are curious and passionate about cutting-edge technology, particularly quantum computing and related technologies.
You thrive in a start-up environment characterized by growth and creativity.
Education
Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, quantum physics, applied mathematics or related fields.
Advanced degree (PhD/MBA) is a plus.
