Credit Manager France
Job description
The Credit Manager is responsible for taking timely and sound credit decisions within the assigned business area and within delegated authorities, accommodating PACCAR sales while ensuring a clear path to payment and continuous minimization of past dues and credit losses. The Credit Manager recommends decisions for credit requests outside his delegated authority level, develops and implements credit guidelines and ensures compliance with PACCAR credit policies, procedures and objectives. Participation and collaboration with the wider European Credit team and other stakeholders will be required.
Main tasks
- You will be responsible for the credit risk management of sales of truck, parts and services in France
- Complete in-depth financial analysis of dealers / customers and prepare credit proposals
- Take sound credit decisions within assigned credit authority in a timely manner
- Where appropriate, you recommend alternative credit solutions and obtain security collaterals
- Communicate credit decisions clearly to appropriate stakeholders
- Face to face relationship building with internal and external stakeholders within France and Europe
- Deliver professional, balanced and reasoned assertiveness to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage timely collection of financial statement reports, monitor quality and prepare performance reports
- Manage collection activities effectively to achieve goals and minimize past dues
- Deliver timely and quality input for a variety of reporting
- The role has one direct report and report to the Area Credit Manager
