CPG Global Consultant

Preferred location – Global role to be based in a SE Hub (preferred: Carros Nice France). Reporting to: EcoStruxure Plant Competency Center Manager (Gunawan Adisaputra).

As part of the EcoStruxure Plant Competency Center (ESXCC), this individual will be responsible for delivering support and consultancy services to help the growth of business in the CPG segment in various countries to exceed EcoStruxure growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Boost adoption of new offers/solutions/technology in the CPG segment and contribute to business growth.
• Pre‑sales: Implement a customer‑pain‑point centric approach by working closely with the Schneider country organization to interact directly with customers (end users, EPC, Process OEM, OEM, System Integrators) to identify requirements, deliver consultancy services and propose the most effective solution/architecture.
• Pre‑sales: Be entrepreneurial, taking initiative and planning action to boost adoption of key offers in CPG (e.g., ProLeiT, EAE, Aveva integration, related CPG Advisors) and drive business growth.
• Ensure the local technical interface through regional teams, fostering collaboration and involvement with country organizations and CPG stakeholders (Strategic Account Executive, key account managers, hub leaders, Industry VP, segment competency center).
• Pilot execution support: Provide knowledge transfer through execution of critical/strategic projects, mentoring Schneider local resources, distributing application notes and cascading success stories to implement best practices.
• Actively contribute to the innovation program to create additional value from Schneider’s portfolio and differentiate the company from competitors.
• Develop industry leaders in the CPG segment: build relationship and trust with CPG Industry Leaders (end users, Process OEM, alliance partners), promote EcoStruxure, ensure Schneider acceptance for new projects, identify opportunities and gaps, and support Process OEM strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in process knowledge and typical requirements for the CPG segment, especially in dairy, food, and life science (mandatory).
• 5+ years designing, engineering, and commissioning industrial automation systems for CPG end‑users or CPG Process OEMs/OEMs (mandatory).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a leader managing stakeholders (technical project manager, project technical leader, or consultant leader) to deliver solutions for the CPG segment (mandatory).
• Strong communication skills to understand end‑user needs and design matching systems.
• Natural leadership and influencing skills with strong execution capability and proactive problem solving (mandatory).
• Knowledge and experience in IIoT application solutions and Aveva solution is a plus.
• Experience working with CPG industry leaders and familiarity with their solutions; developed a competency network is a plus.
• High endurance and flexibility, multicultural business acumen, able to work across EU, NAM, and Asia zones.
