Couple (m/f/d) for household management sought near Bordeaux

For the private estate of a German industrial family near Bordeaux, we are seeking an experienced Household Manager Couple (m/f/d) ,

fluent in German and French, to take full independent responsibility for the management and upkeep of this exclusive private residence.

The château-style estate is situated in a peaceful, idyllic setting and features extensive grounds. Your responsibilities will include the independent organisation and management of the entire household, as well as carrying out all general caretaker and maintenance duties.

In addition, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the grounds and gardens, the upkeep of the swimming pool, and chauffeur services. You will ensure the cleanliness and immaculate condition of the entire estate and, when the employers are in residence – generally for approximately three to five months per year – you will also be responsible for their hospitality and service, as well as laundry care.

For this position of responsibility, we are looking for a couple with several years of professional experience in a high-end private household or in a comparable position.

You have good German and French language skills (or alternatively, good English and French language skills), work independently and reliably, and possess the discretion required when working in a private environment. Both applicants must hold a Category B driving licence .

A spacious, fully furnished staff apartment is located on the estate and is to be occupied as part of the position.

The position is available by mutual agreement.

The remuneration is commensurate with the responsibilities of the position and will be provided in accordance with French employment law .
