Country Sales Manager - Life Science/Pharma Ingredients

We have an exciting opportunity for a Country Sales Manager to join our Pharma division in France, responsible for developing, managing and cultivating sales of Croda Pharma ingredients, while managing a team of four people.

  • Higher education in Science, such as a Master’s degree in Chemistry/Biology
  • Significant experience of at least 8 to 10 years in a sales role, with expertise in ingredients either in Pharma or Life Sciences
  • Strong track record of cultivating sales and managing large customer portfolios
  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills, with a strong results-oriented approach
  • Fluent English essential (spoken and written)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and executing the sales strategy in France, in line with the group's objectives;
  • Maintaining and developing sales in your area by managing a client portfolio, including major pharmaceutical accounts;
  • Maintaining and developing sales in your area by managing both the sales team and your own clients, including major pharmaceutical accounts;
  • Excellent sales and managerial, with a strong results-oriented approach. Identify and develop new growth opportunities, whether with existing customers or new strategic prospects;
  • Monitor and analyze sales KPIs, lead monthly sales meetings, and ensure that the action plan is properly implemented.
  • Produce reliable monthly and quarterly reports and regularly communicate sales forecasts and sales opportunities to your contacts in France and abroad (in English).
  • Use the CRM tool to rigorously monitor activities (opportunities, visits, etc.);
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of the market (needs, trends, competition, regulations) and pass on relevant information to the relevant teams (marketing, R&D, supply chain, sales);
  • Work closely with international teams to ensure overall consistency in sales and marketing activities;
  • Actively participate in the promotion of new products and represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and professional events in the pharmaceutical sector;
