Country Manager - Leading PaaS/Automation vendor

Zearch is working with a niche, early-stage vendor in the Application Development space that is hiring for their first on the-ground Sales Lead in France.


Role Overview:


This individual will be responsible for launching the French market and building a high-performing team around them. Our client already has key reference customers in the region and is looking to capitalize on this early traction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and manage new Mid-Market and Enterprise sales opportunities across France.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with C-level executives across both business and IT functions within named accounts.
  • Drive a structured sales process that deeply qualifies the customer’s technical and business needs to ensure successful deal closure.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition and use ROI/TCO tools to support business cases for decision-makers.
  • Lead contract negotiations, uncover opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by developing and executing a strategic regional sales plan, including a target account list and channel/partner strategy.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business while nurturing growth within existing accounts.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in an independent, fast-moving environment.
  • Play a key role in scaling the business from the ground up in a growth market.


What We’re Looking For:


  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive or Sales Director within a high-growth SaaS, PaaS, or complex enterprise software environment.
  • Strong technical sales background with a proven ability to convey business value and manage complex deal cycles.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS/PaaS (App development, Low Code, ITSM, PaaS, iPaaS, Automation, ERP, SCM, CRM)
  • Demonstrated success in a named account model and experience developing enterprise relationships.
  • Skilled at identifying client needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior business and IT stakeholders, and a knack for building strong partner networks.
  • Track record of qualifying leads effectively and closing high-value deals.
  • Self-starter/Entrepreneur who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficient in both French and English, spoken and written.
