Country Lead - Germany

This is a founding commercial role: one person builds the German market from nothing, from the first conversations with utilities through to pilots and longer contracts. A strong candidate already knows the German energy sector, has sold to large enterprise customers, and can talk comfortably with both engineers and executives. Native German and fluent English are needed, along with a willingness to spend the first months near Paris and then move to Germany.

How it fits the AI era

The company's AI turns airship flight data into automatic defect findings and leak locations, so the product being sold is really an insight service, not just a flying machine. That makes the role easier to explain to customers, since the value shows up in reports they can act on. What stays human is earning trust with utilities, negotiating contracts, dealing with regulators and deciding which partners and opportunities are worth the effort.

How it builds AI experience

Working next to the engineering and operations teams for the first months gives close exposure to how inspection data becomes defect and leak findings. That helps in explaining the AI side to utility buyers and in passing their feedback back to the product team. To build more, a candidate can learn how automated inspection and analytics tools are judged and bought in the German energy sector.
