As our Founding Country Lead for France, you won't simply represent WineQ—you'll help build it.
France is one of the world's most prestigious wine-producing countries, and we're looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual who wants to play a key role in bringing WineQ to French wineries and wine enthusiasts.
Working directly with the founders, you'll introduce WineQ to wineries, wine regions, merchants and industry organizations, helping establish long-term partnerships while shaping our strategy for the French market.
This role combines business development, relationship building and market expansion. You'll become the local face of WineQ, identifying new opportunities, helping wineries showcase their wines to a global audience and supporting them in using WineQ to increase their visibility and grow their business.

Responsibilities
As WineQ's Founding Country Lead in France, you will play a central role in establishing our presence in one of the world's most important wine markets.
Your primary responsibility will be building strong relationships with French wineries, wine merchants, regional wine organizations and tourism partners, introducing them to WineQ and demonstrating how the platform can help them reach more customers.
You'll identify and onboard new winery partners, assist them in creating engaging winery and wine profiles, and ensure their information is accurate, complete and visually compelling.
In addition to expanding our network of partners, you'll actively promote WineQ by attending wine fairs, tastings and industry events, representing the company within the French wine community and identifying new commercial opportunities.
You'll also provide valuable market insights and customer feedback directly to the WineQ founders, helping shape future features, services and growth strategies for the French market.
Ultimately, your success will be measured by the strength of the relationships you build, the partnerships you establish and the long-term growth of WineQ in France.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is excited about building something meaningful rather than simply filling a position.
The ideal candidate is a native French speaker with strong English communication skills and a genuine passion for the French wine industry. You enjoy meeting people, building long-term relationships and creating new business opportunities.
Previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality, wine tourism, wine distribution or winery management is highly valued, although the right attitude and entrepreneurial mindset are even more important.
You should be comfortable working independently, organizing your own schedule and travelling throughout France to visit wineries, attend wine fairs and meet industry professionals.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares WineQ's vision of making wine more accessible while helping wineries grow through innovative digital solutions.
