Description

The Country Head, France is the senior executive leader for Apex Group's operations in France, serving as President and legal representative of the French entities and as the Responsible Expert-Comptable. The role is accountable for business performance, regulatory compliance, professional standards, client service excellence and strategic growth in France. Reporting to the Regional Head, South & East Europe, the Country Head works closely with regional and global stakeholders to drive sustainable growth while ensuring adherence to all professional, ethical and regulatory obligations.

Leadership & Governance

• Act as President and legal representative of the French entities.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for Apex Group operations in France.
• Ensure effective governance, risk and control frameworks across the French legal entities.
• Foster a high-performance, client-focused culture aligned with Group strategy.

Regulatory & Professional Oversight

• Serve as Responsible Expert-Comptable and maintain accountability for compliance with professional, ethical and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for client acceptance, accounting opinions, AML and professional ethics.
• Act as the primary liaison with the Ordre des Experts-Comptables and regulatory authorities.

Commercial & Financial Performance

• Lead the France growth strategy and support business development initiatives.
• Build and maintain key client, intermediary and regulatory relationships.
• Hold overall responsibility for budget delivery, profitability and financial performance.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Expert-Comptable (DEC) and registered with the Ordre des Experts-Comptables.
• Extensive executive leadership experience within accounting, corporate services, fund administration, financial services or professional services.
• Demonstrated experience operating within a regulated environment and engaging with regulatory bodies.
• Strong understanding of French accounting, corporate governance, AML and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience leading teams, managing P&L responsibility and delivering business growth.
• Fluent in French and English.
