Cost Controller Location: Paris, France Contract: 12 months (renewable) Rotation / Set up: Monday to Friday Expected starting date: Sep 2026

Role Overview

• Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
• VOWD Analysis: Conduct Value of Work Done (VOWD) assessments to track project progress.
• MOC Coordination: Manage Management of Change (MOC) processes to mitigate financial risks.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Budget Development: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Cost Control Expertise: Proven experience in cost control processes and methodologies.
• VOWD Knowledge: Familiarity with Value of Work Done calculations and reporting.
• MOC Understanding: Strong grasp of Management of Change principles.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting.

Education & Experience

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cost control or project management are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control within the oil and gas industry, specifically with FPSO or BUOY projects.
