Cost Controller

Join our Project Cost Control team in France and play a key role in driving the financial success of cutting-edge high-tech construction projects .

In this position you’ll work closely with project management, ensuring cost transparency, accurate financial tracking, and reliable reporting throughout the full project lifecycle. Your work will directly support informed decision-making and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support project management with financial and administrative activities
• Assist with cost estimation and project setup
• Maintain cost and revenue structures in SAP
• Prepare and update project dashboards and reports
• Track costs across subcontracting packages
• Record and validate invoices based on approved deliverables
• Monitor project cash flow, payments, advances, and bank guarantees
• Track purchase orders, variations, and additional work
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and follow-up
• Support monitoring of client and subcontractor contracts
• Contribute to financial reporting and performance reviews

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration
• Initial experience in project controlling or cost control (ideally within construction or engineering)
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English and French
