Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., the first Chinese automobile exporter for the last 23 years, is accelerating its strategic expansion across Europe.

Present in more than 120 countries, the Group has sold over 18 million vehicles globally and reached 2.8 million units in 2025, including 1.3 million exports.

In France, Chery Group has already launched OMODA & JAECOO brand through its own distribution network. In parallel, recruitment is also underway to support additional group brands, including Chery, iCaur, etc. as part of Chery group’s broader European growth strategy.

To support this rapid expansion, Chery France is building a strong local organization to ensure sustainable growth and brand establishment in the French market.

Responsibilities / Missions

As Corporate PR Manager , you will be part of the PR team. Under the Head of PR you will be responsible for developing brand communication, as well as supporting the Group’s corporate communication and media relations.

1. Media Relations & Corporate Communications

• PR Strategy: Define and drive the corporate communication strategy to increase brand awareness and credibility in France.
• Media Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key journalists (economic, automotive, tech, and press). Organize interviews, press conferences, and any relevant event.
• Crisis Management: Anticipate reputational risks, develop reactive messaging, and manage sensitive situations in close coordination with global headquarters.
• Executive Positioning: Draft press releases and prepare key talking points and speeches for the executive leadership team.

2. Public Affairs & Institutional Relations

• Lobbying & Networking: Build and maintain a high-level network with public policymakers, industry associations and relevant think tanks.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor and analyze French and European legislative developments affecting the automotive sector (environmental regulations, tariffs, subsidies, charging infrastructure).
• Strategic Advocacy: Promote the company’s contribution to the local economy (investments, job creation, green transition) to institutional stakeholders.

Profile / Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Communications, International Relations, or Business School.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven success in Public Affairs and/or PR, ideally within the automotive, tech, or energy sectors, or from a leading corporate affairs agency.
• Languages: Fluent English and French are mandatory (daily interactions with global HQ and local stakeholders).
• Outstanding written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• A pre-existing, robust network of media and institutional contacts in France.
• Strong cross-cultural competence, with the ability to navigate a fast‑paced, matrixed global organization (start‑up mindset within a major group).
• Proficient in media monitoring tools and PR reporting.
• Self‑starter, autonomous, creative, and results oriented.
