Corporate Partnerships Specialist (Volunteer)
The Hassan Cole & Company is a Paris-based Film & Television production company dedicated to telling sustainability-driven stories for global audiences from African perspectives. Founded in 2026 by Ghanaian filmmaker and sustainability advocate Nana Antwi Owusu-Ansah, the company is committed to storytelling that aligns with six key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Reduced Inequalities. The Hassan Cole & Company produces narrative fiction films and documentaries designed to compete on an international level, particularly showcasing stories that have been historically overlooked or marginalized.
Role Description
The Corporate Partnerships Specialist (Volunteer) is a part-time (about 5-10 hours per week), hybrid role based in Paris, France. The primary duties of this role include identifying and building strong partnerships with corporate sponsors, managing ongoing relationships, and strategically aligning with organizations to advance the company's mission. Responsibilities also include conducting market research for funding opportunities, creating compelling partnership proposals, and overseeing sponsorship deliverables. The individual will collaborate with internal teams to align outreach strategies with organizational objectives and ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant, sponsorship, and funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, public institutions, and international organizations.
- Lead the drafting and submission of grant applications, funding proposals, concept notes, and partnership pitches.
- Develop compelling fundraising materials that clearly communicate the organization's mission, impact, and funding needs.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective funders and strategic partners.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and supporting documents required by donors and partners.
- Support the development of corporate partnership strategies that generate sustainable funding opportunities.
- Monitor grant deadlines, application requirements, and funding trends relevant to the creative and cultural sectors.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop persuasive funding proposals and partnership documents.
- Previous experience in grants management, fundraising, partnerships, business development, donor relations, or proposal writing is an advantage.
- Experience within the film, media, arts, culture, or creative sectors is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with film grants, cultural funding mechanisms, sponsorship acquisition, or international development funding is a plus.
Commitment
Approximately 5 hours per week.
Flexible and fully remote.
