Core Software Engineer, full-stack
Moove is hiring a Software Engineer to join our product and engineering team in Paris.
We build the next Uber for aviation. Private jet, helicopter operators, regional airlines and medical evacuation providers use our turnkey white-label platform to schedule, sell and book flights directly, without going through legacy intermediaries. Since signing our first CAC40 client in 2023, we’re grown ARR 10x in 14 months, work with more than 60 B2B clients, and generate most of our revenue in the US.
We’re currently raising a new funding round to open a New York office and to connect charter and regional flights directly to global GDS networks (Amadeus, Sabre) through our GDS integration partnerships.
You’ll be working close to some of our most important accounts, for example:
- Large private jet operators based in Los Angeles, serving some of the most recognizable names in entertainment and media
- An ultra-exclusive, members-only aviation club used by some of the wealthiest families in the world
- A marketplace connecting major insurers directly to medical evacuation operators
- Global industrial groups digitizing their corporate flight operations
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Be a technical leader, designing architectures that brings together high net worth customers, hundreds of thousands of passengers, pilots seating in their cockpit, and airlines control center operators into a single platform
- Work closely with product and our key accounts (private operators, the medical marketplace, corporate clients) to turn their needs into a scalable technical roadmap
- Help design and lead the migration of our core platform toward an event-driven architecture (Pub-Sub) as booking volumes scale, as well as a fine-grained permission system adapted to each individual while safeguarding data confidentiality
- Bring AI into the product where it makes sense: automated QA, our GDS integration layer (Moove Connect), and our sales copilot (Moove Copilot)
- Own parts of our cloud infrastructure on GCP, including scaling for multi-timezone operations across the US and Europe
- Help harden the security of the platform, especially around sensitive data (medical records, payments, passenger information)
- Build full-stack features (React / Node.js / TypeScript) across our core modules: pricing, flight feasibility, PSS, crew rostering
- Set up and maintain E2E tests (Cypress), performance monitoring and error tracking on GCP
- Support and mentor other engineers as the team grows across Paris and New York
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Engineering or computer science degree from a strong school, with 0-6 years of full-stack experience
- Solid hands-on experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript and GraphQL; comfortable with event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, EventBridge or similar)
- Real experience running infrastructure at scale in the cloud, ideally GCP
- Curiosity about applying AI in production: agents, automated testing, internal tooling
- Interest in shaping and spreading good engineering practices across the company, from internal tooling and developer experience to how projects and code are structured
- Autonomy and ownership; comfortable taking the lead on architecture decisions
- Good spoken English: you’ll be talking directly with US operators and Fortune 500 clients
- A genuine interest in aviation or on-demand mobility
- Technical interview with the CTO
- Architecture case study or live coding exercise at our offices
- Culture-fit conversation with the CEO
PERKS
- Significant variable (>5-10k€) based on individual and company performance
- Regular trips to visit clients (Los Angeles, New York, Brazil, Switzerland...)
- A fast-growing startup, currently raising its next funding round
Expected start date: as soon as possible
