Job Description
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an experienced professional to join the Support & Services and Manufacturing Services PSL team within the PLM department based in Marignane, France. This role is integral to shaping the future of aeronautics and protecting lives through helicopter missions. The Marignane site, France’s third largest industrial facility, is undergoing profound transformation to become a high‑tech, inclusive, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations (MCO) & SLAs: Ensure the infrastructure remains in operational condition in accordance with OLAs/SLAs and monitor system performance against negotiated SLAs.
- Provisioning & CI/CD: Provision new software packages and upgrades, and maintain continuous integration and deployment on the containerized platform (OpenShift / Kubernetes).
- ITIL "As Code": Translate ITIL support processes (incident, problem, change, configuration, event management) into automation workflows (e.g., Ansible) to prevent recurrences.
- Support & SRE: Provide level 3 application support for web technologies, investigate complex logs, HTTP/S flows, and implement improvements to reliability, efficiency, and availability.
- Budget & FinOps: Manage and optimize the IT and Cloud budget for the application scope using a FinOps approach and right‑sizing of resources.
- Continuous Improvement: Inform the IT Product Manager of improvements, updates, and product obsolescence.
Qualifications – Technical Skills
- Containerization : Expert knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes ecosystems.
- Automation & IaC : Advanced scripting in PowerShell or Python and mastery of Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Systems & Web : Advanced expertise in Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server, web servers (Nginx, HAProxy), certificate management, and Active Directory.
- Networks : Solid understanding of network architectures, TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitoring : Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Methodology : Mastery of ITIL concepts applied to a DevOps environment.
Qualifications – Professional & Soft Skills
- Incident Resolution: Ability to analyze and diagnose quickly, even under pressure.
- Rigor: Adherence to procedures, attention to detail, and high‑quality documentation.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in computer science, networks, systems administration, or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years in IT operations, systems/network administration, or L2/L3 support with a production engineering focus.
- Languages: Technical English mandatory.
