Enterprise Architect (f/m) – Digital Strategy & Architecture, Marignane, France

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Strategy & Architecture team based in Marignane, France. You will support the company's strategy and business roadmaps by proposing global architecture designs for decision making and implementation framing.

The team builds and deploys strategies around innovative technologies, masters convergence, standardizes means, simplifies, and modernizes the information system.

We collaborate with a broad audience of stakeholders, including business directorates, the digital transformation office, IM representatives, Airbus divisions, subsidiaries and partners, in an international context.

The role spans multiple domains (manufacturing, production, engineering, customer services) and includes both civil and military projects. It functions as an internal business/IT consultant for architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the architecture referential: APM (Application Portfolio Management)
• Maintain, use and promote AH architecture framework (design patterns, architecture principles, modeling tool: EA Sparx)
• Select and define AIRBUS Group standards
• Lead the functional business and applicative architecture design
• Develop and manage business and applicative roadmaps
• Apply enterprise architecture's methodology and promote standards
• Respect regulations on data management (Export Control, NATO...)
• Act as an internal consultant / expert
• Work with business teams, IM teams, other Airbus divisions and external consultants; lead requirements gathering, understand and formalise business issues/drivers and requirements
• Analyse the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determine their potential impact on Airbus Helicopters IS according to business process evolutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology
• 5/10 years of proven experience in strategic projects framing in an international context
• Double competencies: IT knowledge and business processes/context (aerospace or similar industry context)
• Experience on Application Portfolio management
• Experience on architecture modelling tools (i.e. SPARX)
• Knowledge of several IT domains (cloud, containerisation, security...) and innovative technologies (IoT, AR VR, big data, AI, RPA...); familiar with public/private cloud features (AWS, Azure, GCP...)
• Knowledge of frameworks and repositories for enterprise architecture: Togaf, IAF, Alfabet, ServiceNow, Mega, Archimate
• Knowledge of innovative technologies supporting augmented architect strategies (knowledge graph base, artificial intelligence...)
• Experience in SAFE/Agile methodology
• Ability to address complex topics/environments
• Ability to quickly comprehend new technologies' functions and capabilities
• Ability to understand long‑term (“big picture”) and short‑term perspectives, propose architecture solutions and estimate financial impacts
• Advanced level of English
• Advanced level of French

Security clearance : This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
