Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Database Administrator (f/m/d) to join our department Infrastructure Technologies based in Marignane, France . Join us to shape the future of aeronautics and help protect lives during missions accomplished thanks to our helicopters.
The Marignane site, the 3rd largest industrial site in France, near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, is undergoing a deep transformation to offer a high-tech, inclusive, and environmentally friendly working environment.

Your future missions
You will be part of a team managing different Database Technologies supported by the Airbus Helicopters' Hosting & Cloud Services - Infrastructure Technologies.
Your main missions will be
- Manage and optimize production, development and test environments for ORACLE, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other DB technologies.
- Collaborate with System Architects to ensure the database layer meets the rigorous performance requirements.
- Perform regular maintenance, including backups, restores, and statistics calculations to ensure high availability.
- Support and backup the database product manager.
- Maintain databases of critical applications of Airbus helicopters (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE).
Your profile
- Master degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in management of ORACLE, SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases.
- Knowledge in scripting languages to develop automation and analysis.
- Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation.
- Curious, open-minded, collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Autonomous, organized, delivery/customer-oriented, technology enthusiast and crisis facing robustness.
- Experience working on projects with international teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (working language). German is a plus.
